New York architects and industrial designer brothers Granger & Robert Moorehead have developed a particularly amazing screen system for their interiors made of CNC milled panels. Fully modular in conception, this bubbly screen design is an inventive way to divide up space in large spaces without sacrificing design or originality with something as brutish as a flat rolling partition. Further, the fact that the screen is made of metal is always appealing to the creative contemporary interior designer: it would be clean, go well with a lot of different colors, lighten up a dark room or even out a bright room. What’s most interesting about this design is that it fits two separate needs for a screen partition: it can both easily divide the room and serve as a creative interior sculpture. In fact, the accents you’ll get with this screen from creative lighting schemes alone would make it worth trying out on your next design assignment!
