This beautiful and unusual house was created by architect Tetsuya Nakazono from Naf Architect & Design and is located in Hiroshima, Japan. The residence has a total living surface of 172, 55 square meters and it has three floors. The black cedar material was chosen because the construction was built in a traditional Japanese area, with similar cedar projects and even cedar sake distilleries. The first level houses an entrance hall, the master bedroom, the tatami room and a bathroom. An elegant spiral staircase leads to the upper floors. As you start going up, a semi-opened space follows. We really like this concept as it offers a place where you have an unobstructed panoramic view of the surroundings. This is also a great place for a terrace. At the third floor is where the action is: the living-room, dining room and kitchen complete this amazing home. Do you find this project as interesting as we do?-via Platforma Arquitectura
